When we last spoke to Jaime Alemán in 2020, the Panamanian lawyer and explorer had just completed a feat few humans ever will: visiting every country in the world. But in the years since, Jaime hasn’t slowed down — in fact, he’s gone further than anyone else ever has.

From racing against time and a global pandemic to reach his final country, to standing at both the South and North Poles, and finally soaring beyond Earth’s atmosphere into space with Blue Origin, Jaime has now accomplished what nobody that we know of ever has ...

... the “Grand Slam of Travel” — all UN countries, both poles & space.

In this candid and deeply moving update, Jaime reflects on the highs, hurdles, and historic moments of his extraordinary journey. Read here :-)

Updated Statistics

Do you know which NomadMania region is the hardest to visit? Perhaps it’s simply the one that’s visited the least!

On our newly updated Statistics page, you can explore much more:

  • Most visited regions
  • Most visited countries
  • Least visited DARE places
  • etc…

But it doesn’t stop there. You can also discover which nations have the most well-travelled citizens and see who the most active travellers are each year — all based on data provided by our amazing NomadMania members.

Thanks to a great suggestion from our Premium Early Adopters Group, we’ve now expanded our statistics lists to cover the top 100 positions.

Take a look here (also available in the app). Happy exploring :-)

[TOUR] Central African Republic

Following three successful trips in March with 30+ travellers, we are pleased to offer a 3-day itinerary into the heart of the Central African Republic in December this year, tailored for experienced travellers seeking to quickly experience Bangui and its nearby natural and cultural landmarks in a relatively comfortable way.

The tour includes a day trip to the dramatic Boali Falls and a full-day exploration of the capital and its surroundings, including a unique visit to a Pygmy community and a river pirogue experience.

Visa support is included in the package for a seamless arrival (laissez-passer document provided for boarding). All groups will be accommodated at the comfortable Ledger Hotel in Bangui, the best in the country, which includes a pool and a reliable restaurant.

The hotel accounts for a large percentage of the cost. All transport and activities mentioned are included, though meals are not. This short but intensive visit ensures you cover the essentials of CAR while keeping logistics simple and efficient.
