The team at Invisible knows that education is the answer to helping patients. We need more especially about environmental impacts on health and vector-borne illnesses like Lyme disease. There is a serious deficit of medical education for tick-borne illness and recent studies by researchers at Cornell University and Texas Tech University demonstrate this lack through rigorous analysis. A Lymedisease.org survey of clinicians also highlights the urgent need for in depth medical medication: “74% of respondents said that there are not enough Lyme disease clinicians because “mastery of the subject matter” is a large barrier.” Invisible has created a robust, evidence-based curriculum of medical education on these topics and is prepared to teach more clinicians at conferences and in the field. We need your support through donations to continue creating and deliver more of this vital education.
Our work at the Scripps Health Primary Care Conference was supported by the donors to our annual fund and the Lipman Family Foundation. Depending on the size of a conference, the cost to prepare curriculum, attend, teach, and exhibit and share materials to frontline providers ranges between $50k to $100K. The more conferences our team can go to, the more physicians and frontline workers we can reach. This quickly translates into better clinical care for patients who are suffering now. Help us get out into the community and reach more doctors and clinicians. Give today.
