Kennett Collaborative Board member and treasurer Geoff Bosley says:
Kennett Square is my home and has been virtually my entire life. To see how the town has progressed now as compared to where it was in my youth in the 1980s and 90s is remarkable. It's such a great, entertaining, safe, diverse place to raise a family. I walk to my office virtually every day. In addition to being able to get some fresh air and exercise, I love looking at the buildings and homes along the way. I can go a different route each day as well to learn more about the town!
We have a ton of favorites in town. My family and I spend a lot of time at The Market since it's so family friendly. We also enjoy going to La Verona, Portabellos, and Letty's, just to name a few. We're looking forward to the return of the Mushroom Festival this year and also enjoy the Third Thursdays, Kennett Brewfest, and the many parades that Kennett offers.
I enjoy serving on the Kennett Collaborative Board. Volunteering and being involved in the town has inspired me to serve with different organizations over the years. Historic Kennett Square (now Kennett Collaborative) played such a vital role in the transformation of Kennett over the past 20–25 years, and it's been a wonderful experience playing a part in the organization. Just seeing the town continue to thrive and grow is so important. As the main street organization, Kennett Collaborative is very vital to the strength and vibrancy of the town. I'm most excited about helping with the cohesion among other important nonprofit, for-profit, and governmental agencies while playing a vital role in the continued economic development of the area!
