You know how sometimes, by a stroke of luck, something happens that just brings a huge smile to your face? Well, something like that has been happening a lot recently and I'm dying to tell you all about it.
Welcome to Dohful's Sunday Letter guys, today we're going to talk about something that baffles everyone about Dohful...me included!
First things first.
Yesterday I got an email from one of you guys. And honestly, it made my day! I mean I became so happy just reading it, that probably I was way more inspired to work yesterday than so many days when I'm just dragging along with stuff.
The subject line of the email said I am so addicted that I need a monthly subscription!!! and I was immediately curious.
Turns out, he wasn't joking at all, he has bought more than 10times within the last year for himself and apart from that also ordered cookies for his friends & family.
2 lines in and I'm already smiling like crazy!
He goes on to tell me how much he loves Dohful cookies and that he thinks we are the best and talks about his favorite cookie of the lot and much more. The more I read the more I loved.
All I could think was, how I wish I could meet this person and thank him face to face. That's how much delighted I was, reading his mail.
But then I thought, why just him?
If I could any of you guys or all of you guys, I would grab the opportunity with both hands, to thank you for giving us so much love and support.
Every single day we receive tons of feedback & appreciation notes from you guys over email, Whatsapp, Insta DMs, & on our website.
I must tell you, these messages from you are like shots of motivation for us. Especially on the days when otherwise nothing seems to be going right!
Just a day or two ago, one of the founders of another food company asked me how come we have so much customer feedback and photos/videos that we share on our Insta stories on a daily basis. She said it felt like we had created a community of cookie lovers who had something to say every single day.
In short, she was baffled by the number of reviews we get every single day.
But her words couldn't have been more true. Right from the beginning, it was very important to us that our customers should be able to talk to us about anything that they feel we should be doing in Dohful.
Whether it be about our cookies, our packaging, the deliverytimelines, we always wanted to know what you all thought.
I think this actually stems from the fact that both Chaman & I belong to the restaurant/cafe industry before starting Dohful. So, as I told you in this Sunday Letter, in the early days we used to miss meeting our customers face to face, asking them for feedback, improve the shortcomings, and keep this loop going.
So habituated to what we had been doing before, we kept trying to connect with you guys in some way or the other. Be it reaching out to every person who ordered Dohful to ask them for feedback, orputting up a stall in a prominent food fest in Delhi to gauge customer reactions, we spent a great deal of time trying to understand what you guys were thinking about us.
And I think that's the reason today we have 1600+ reviews on our website, out of which 1400+ are 5 Star rating reviews. Our overall rating is steady at 4.75 to 4.8 out of 5 and we have recently crossed 18,500+ unique customers in Dohful.
All because we continued talking to our customers. That is the only secret sauce here.
