"Education is the science of relations."
// Charlotte Mason, British Educator
When learning, our "new" knowledge seems to be found everywhere: in the books we read, in the Jeopardy questions of the night, on nature walks with family, in discussions with friends. It's as simple as this: my boys and I briefly studied Stonehenge and took a virtual tour of the mysterious rocks on the Salisbury Plain. Afterwards we visited Charlotte's Big Rock Nature Preserve, a formation of giant granite rocks. We found moss and algae growing on them that looked unmistakably familiar to our morning lesson on British History and Folklore.
