In our daily work, we increasingly encounter Swiss companies that are strategically addressing the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). The drivers for a deeper engagement with the topic are as diverse and current as ever: skills shortages, demographic changes, ESG objectives, gender equality, etc. All companies have a responsibility today and are dealing with how they want to strategically anchor DE&I in their company and manage it sustainably. How do you set realistic DE&I goals? Where are you already utilising the diversity of talents, where is there untapped potential, or are you even losing valuable talents? How do your diversity metrics evolve over time – and how do you compare to the industry?

This is exactly where HSG Diversity Benchmarking has been coming in for more than ten years: Using a well-founded analysis of anonymised HR data, the benchmarking measures diversity and the implementation of DE&I in companies. It provides participating organisations with a comprehensive evaluation of their HR processes from a diversity perspective, taking intersectionality into account. These diversity metrics are compared to the results of industry peers or the industry average. This gives you an objective assessment of where your company stands in terms of diversity and provides you with a basis for the strategic development of the topic. You receive the metrics to adopt and regularly review DE&I objectives.

With DIVERSITY WORKS, our newly developed platform, diversity benchmarking goes digital and will be available to you in the form of customisable dashboards from 2024.

• You can access your diversity benchmarking results online at any time and have access to a comprehensive selection of metrics, which you can check in predefined views or customise according to your needs.

• Want to present your diversity metrics internally? Then create your custom reporting dashboard and download your metrics for your reports or presentations.

• Or would you like to share key metrics with colleagues or management? The digital solution enables you to give multiple people within your organisation access to the diversity benchmarking results.

• Would you like to know how your diversity indicators have developed over the past years? This trend analysis is also available to you as an easy-to-use dashboard and offers new, in-depth insights into the development of DE&I in your company.

Register now via DIVERSITY WORKS and participate in the HSG Diversity Benchmarking 2024. We at the CCDI are again working closely with industry associations such as Swissmem and Arbeitgeber Banken for the upcoming industry analyses.

Alle Mann an Bord!
Erfolgreich durch DE&I Foto

”All hands on deck” are needed to make sustainable progress towards gender equity—including men. But how to do this effectively? You’re in luck: At the Competence Center for Diversity and Inclusion (St. Gallen University), we’ve designed a new evidence-based male allyship training exactly for this purpose!

We provide men with the knowledge and skills to foster a more inclusive corporate culture. For example, men will learn to identify subtle forms of bias that are harmful for people of all genders, to reflect on dynamic privilege(s) to know if and when their help might be the most helpful, understand responsibilities as an engaged colleague, and practice allyship strategies. We invite all men who aim to learn and support gender equity at work to join our blended learning approach of self-paced online content and a day on-site.

Prof. Dr. Jamie Gloor, a leading expert in the field, will guide you on your journey to allyship (funded by—and offered at a reduced rate—thanks to the Swiss National Science Foundation).

Ready to learn more? Check out our website for more information and spread the word about our training with your male colleagues, family members, and friends today!

Would you like to have a training in your organization? We can offer individual and customized organizational offers in German and in English.
