Holiday Light Parade 2025 Insiders Guide:

📅 Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025

⏰ Parade Start Time: 6:00 PM

📍 Location: State Street—from Broad Street to Mill Road

The 2025 Kennett Square Holiday Light Parade promises to be our most spectacular celebration yet — with more lights, more music, and more magic filling the streets!

Three things you won't want to miss:

1. Longwood Gardens—leading the parade with their restored 1969 International Loadstar 1800 stake body dump truck that has been featured in their Holiday Display in previous years.

2. The Woodland String Band—a beloved Philadelphia Mummers group known for their dazzling costumes, lively music, and high-energy performances that will bring their signature sparkle and festive spirit to Kennett Square for the very first time!

3. The Papier-Mâché Mushroom—on the Kennett Collaborative float — a whimsical creation that many community members helped craft during Third Thursday in August. It’s a beautiful symbol of the creativity and collaboration that makes Kennett Square shine year-round!

Food Drive at The Farmers Market

November 14 3:00 - 5:30 pm

The Kennett Square Farmers Market is hosting a Food Drive benefiting KACS. Community members are invited to bring non-perishable food donations—or purchase fresh, local items directly from market vendors—to help neighbors in need. This effort not only provides essential food to families facing hardship but also supports the farmers and small businesses that make our community thrive.

Help us keep the music going! Join us FRI, NOV 14th for The KENNETT FLASH ENCORE fundraiser event! Musical performances, silent auction, awards, and more. The Flash means so much to so many people - from enjoying powerful and intimate performances to life-changing opportunities for young artists, the Flash continues to be a valuable asset in the Kennett community. We need help to keep rocking!

East Penn Railroad

Santa Train - Toys For Tots

November 29th 10 am

The East Penn Railroad Santa Train returns to southern Chester County with stops in Oxford, West Grove, Avondale, Toughkenamon & Kennett Square. This year’s ride features a newly restored caboose carrying Santa and a special partnership with the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program, collecting new, unwrapped gifts for children in need. Families can enjoy waving to Santa, snapping photos, and joining the holiday spirit — no admission or toy donation required, just joy and community cheer!
