Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
Due to the recent increase in measles cases, the USET Office of Tribal Public Health is sharing an important opportunity for clinical and public health staff. The Indian Country ECHO Webinar: Current Measles Response and Clinical and Prevention Best Practices is hosted by Indian Country ECHO, in partnership with UNM Project ECHO. The webinar is a three-part collaborative learning series designed for IHS, Tribal, and Urban Indian healthcare providers, support staff, and state immunization program managers.
This series will cover critical updates on the current measles outbreak, response efforts, and prevention strategies in Tribal and Urban Indian communities. Participants will learn about clinical presentation, diagnosis, infection control, and culturally informed vaccination strategies aimed at strengthening MMR vaccine confidence.
The panel of experts includes USET’s resident Medical Epidemiologist, Dr. Harry Brown, who will provide valuable insights specific to Indian Country. We encourage you and your team to take advantage of this expert-led, shared learning opportunity to support your community’s preparedness and response efforts.
