Issue 83- October 23, 2020

Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to this week's episode of, "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

What a week! I've conducted my first big Baby Shower virtualization, did some graphic design work for another client, and have been continuing to dig deeper into my new full-time work project. While I am tremendously grateful, I must admit I will definitely be looking forward to catching a few extra Zzzz's over the weekend (in between the cleaning I'm "supposed" to be doing...).

I have additionally still been keeping up with my 31 day art challenge (follow the hashtag #ArtoberWithE on instagram --if you're interested to see what I have been making). I'm sharing another pieces in my profile feature this week- as I still have no new selfies or the like-lol.

As always, sending lots of love, hugs, and prayers to you all!!!

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy

(mentally & physically) out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Fernweh (n): A strong desire to travel and visit far off places; Far-sickness.

  • ADVICE: “You don't need to tell people who you are. Your actions and behavior will show them. So, just do you." - Anonymous

  • MOOD MUSIC: I was at a store running an errand earlier this week, and heard Chris Stapleton's song, "Millionaire." I've always loved his voice, and this song is definitely a special one that lyrically touches the heart.

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: If you are a fan of "Black Mirror," you might like this show that I randomly stumbled upon called "Soulmates."  on AMC. It definitely has a way of sucking you in!

  • THE MORE YOU KNOW: A major thing that you may/may not have heard about is the #ENDSARS movement in Nigeria. I know that there is A LOT happening here in the US; but, in the vein of the larger focus of humanity, this is another important issue to give focus as well.

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Iron is an important mineral that must be consumed regularly for our immune systems- especially, since our bodies cannot produce it on their own. Here are 12 Healthy Foods That Are High in Iron that you can try implementing into your diet.

A friend of mine shared this on his IG, and I loved it...

so, I decided to share it here as well.

This week's challenge is to:

Think about an area in which you can cultivate growth in your life.

I will be taking a bit of a mini pause on my community activations as I gear up for some new projects that will taking up a lot more of my bandwidth. But, be on the lookout for some (very sporadic) events here and there. (As doing these events, and sharing in community really does bring me joy.)

And, if you haven't heard me say it lately, I want to thank you for your support and readership. It means a lot that you take time out of your day to take in my  little musings and life shares!

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
