Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
The Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Reporting Portal is now open for health care providers to begin submitting PRF payment information. Providers that have received PRF funds from April 10, 2020 to June 30, 2020 must complete reporting for this period between now and September 30, 2021. In addition, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced an upcoming technical assistance webinar on the PRF Reporting Portal. Webinar details are as follows—
HHS has also published the following informational documents on the revised reporting requirements and reporting timelines for recipients of PRF payments—
A Provider Support Line has also been set up by HHS and can be reached by calling (866) 569-3522, or by TTY by dialing 771. The support line hours of operation are from 8:00am to 10:00am CT.
HHS Revised Notice of Reporting Requirements and Reporting Timeline for PRF Payments
On June 17, 2021, USET SPF sent an Alert
on the HHS issuance of revised reporting requirements and reporting timelines for recipients of PRF payments. Revisions included extending the amount of time health care providers will have to report information, reducing burdens on smaller providers, and extending key deadlines for expending PRF payments for recipients who received payments after June 30, 2020. Reporting requirements for PRF payments were previously updated on January 15, 2021.
The revised reporting requirements included the following:
- The period of availability of funds is based on the date the payment is received, rather than requiring all payments be used by June 30, 2021, regardless of when they were received.
- Recipients are required to report for each Payment Received Period in which they received one or more payments exceeding, in the aggregate, $10,000, rather than $10,000 cumulatively across all PRF payments.
- Recipients will have a 90-day period to complete reporting, rather than a 30-day reporting period.
