The Property Sisters of Montana Insider News

Blurbs are a big part of a book’s success in the marketplace. I’m so grateful for the Tule Marketing Team that works so hard to fine tune the blurbs for my books.

Here’s our MONTANA BLUEPRINT FOR LOVE blurb:

Is she restoring “this old house” or reimagining her future with the man she left behind?

Man down.

When “Diamond” Jim McCall gambles on a fixer-upper for sentimental reasons, his house of cards implodes – along with his health. Ruby’s ready for a job change but agreeing to become her first crush’s apprentice might be her biggest mistake. She doesn’t doubt they can “flip” the derelict ranch house and save Summit Construction, but at what cost to her heart? After all, Boone Fielding became the son her father never had when she left for college.

Man up.

Helping Ruby McCall and her sisters flip Diamond Jim’s “money pit” makes sense financially, but he can’t partner with someone he doesn’t trust – and Boone hasn’t forgotten his last close encounter with Ruby. But every day on the job reminds him of why he fell in love with her in the first place.

How is he ever going to let her go when the job is done?

And here’s a first look at the MEET ME IN MONTANA blurb:

She’s looking at her big picture…in Montana

Who swaps a golden parachute in the Bay Area for a share in a Montana thrift store and pipe dream flipping homes with her two sisters? Ambitious former investment rep Amber McCall, who’s never abandoned her dream of a career in design. After working as an apprentice under Trey Brandel to stage the Property Sisters’ first project, Amber wants it all – creative career, babies, and forever love with the man of her dreams. Only Mr. Right has one foot out the door.

His sights are set on his dream job…in the Big Apple

Magazine editor and skilled designer Trey Brandel finally has it all – a job at his father’s prestigious art and design magazine, a chance to reconnect with the dad he barely knows, and the “big city life” he missed since his parents divorced. His time in Montana was temporary – helping his mom recover – but Amber is impossible to forget.

Is he making the worst mistake of his life by walking away?

We are getting close to the final draft of the MONTANA BLUEPRINT FOR LOVE cover. The team gave me two fabulous choices, but each needed a bit of tweaking. I made my choice…then changed my mind…then changed it again…then said, “You pick.” LOL.

I hope to be able to share the final version with you next week.

Thanks to everyone who has preordered the book. In case you missed it, here’s the preorder link: BOOK 1

Only available for one more week at 99¢ at AppleBooks!

Did someone say something about a new RV?

That would be me.

Hubby and I have been talking about taking our camping to another level for months. When an opportunity came about to buy a used RV with only 49,000 miles on it, we bit the bullet.

Of course, you understand that my Car Guy looks at this big white box as a blank palette for his personal expression. So, here’s the “BEFORE” (with a bit of photo bombing that I missed entirely until I reviewed the final video). I promise to share the “AFTER” before we hit the road.

Last week’s Q&A was: Will you watch the Superbowl? Y or N?

This was a tight race. About half of you answered, “Yes, but only for the ads and/or J Lo.” The rest answered with a resounding: NO.

My response has changed because, although I don’t watch much/any football during the season, my “home” team has made it to the final game—“Go NINERS” and they will be playing against my sister’s favorite team—KANSAS CITY.

My two randomly selected winners this week are:

Jodi W – YES
and
Melissa Davison – YES

(Jodi and Melissa congrats. Please email me your pick of either a $5 Starbucks or a $5 Amazon gift card.)

Q&A

This week’s Q&A: Do you like to travel? Yes or No?

(Two winners will be chosen by random drawing to receive either a $5 Starbucks gift card or a $5 Amazon gift card. Please reply the usual ways: email or on my DebraSalonenAuthor Facebook page.)

And just for the heck of it, here’s my girl Jessie, who hates to have her photo taken but indulged me the other day for a quick photo shoot.

Jessie and I both thank everyone who volunteered to be part of my Review Crew! I love and appreciate you all. I can’t wait to hear what you think of MONTANA BLUEPRINT FOR LOVE.

Happy reading,

Deb
