For 112 years, the Boy Scouts of America has developed a culture of leadership, service, learning, and adventure for hundreds of millions of America's youth. It is our mission to ensure that here in Michigan, Scouting will continue to do what is has always done: provide families with an outstanding program of character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Due to our desire to ensure the continuation of this tradition, we’ll be hosting the 6^th annual On My Honor Gala, on Tuesday, September 20 at Andiamo’s flagship location in Warren. At this event, the Michigan Crossroads Council, BSA, is excited to present the Honorable Kenneth Braithwaite, 77^th Secretary of the Navy and 31^st US Ambassador to Norway, and Brig. Gen. Rolf Mammen, Commander of the 127^th Wing of the Air National Guard, and Commander of Selfridge Air National Guard Base with the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award. Famed journalist, corporate executive, and non-profit leader John Akouri and the Honorable Rick Snyder, Michigan’s 48^th Governor, will be joining the event with remarks as well. As a community leader, past attendee, and Scouting donor, we ask you to consider joining us in support of our honored guests and this extraordinary organization, the Boy Scouts of America, at the On My Honor Gala.

In these challenging times, we need to ensure that Scouting will be funded to continue their mission. While this is a free event, we encourage you to please demonstrate your support for the youth and families of Michigan by considering a contribution while attending the On My Honor Gala, Scouting’s capstone community event of the annual donor-based giving campaign.

We understand how important it is to support and strengthen the community and it has served as our mission to do so for eleven decades. We are sure that you understand the need as well.
