Hi AJ!

Whew, we made it through my oldest son’s wedding and so many trips back-and-forth to my sister’s farm that I don’t want to make that drive again for a good while. The bride and groom said the wedding was everything they hoped for and more. Here are a few candid photos. Yes, I’m a proud mama.

My birthday was the next day (thank you for all the birthday wishes!). I was thrilled when my great niece was born that morning. Her daddy was supposed to have been a groomsman, but texted that his wife had gone into labor and they couldn’t come. I think that’s a pretty good reason for missing his cousin’s wedding. LOL.

Our power just went out…I’m wagering it’s because of the digging for the housing development a street over. Hubby says it’s probably a main, buried power line. So until he gets home and can fire up the generator, I’m getting as much work done before my computer battery dies.

Thank goodness the temperatures are in the 70s this week and not the upper 90s of last week.

In other books news, I’ve started ONCE UPON A MIDNIGHT DREAM, the last book in my Chronicles of the Westbrook Brides Series. Many of you have asked when the book is going to be available. If all goes as planned, expect to see Layton and Lily’s story late this fall. I’m going to miss those Westbrooks. Sigh.

I apologize for the delay in releasing the Chronicles of the Westbrook Brides print editions. After updating the covers and descriptions, we ran into an issue publishing the paperback editions. It took us a bit to iron the situation out and then upload the books. For those who inquired about paperback editions, they are available now.
