Welcome to RichCast newsletter #3 - November 2021!

We’ve kept really busy this month and the team have been working hard to improve RichCast based on your feedback.

We’ve addressed stability issues on both PC and Mac and have split our project shelves so you can find your own work quickly and easily. Just click on your account profile to access them.

Speaking of, we’ll also be adding a bunch of account profile pictures before the end of the month!

This month saw Andrew and Philip head to Develop:Brighton to deliver a talk on ‘’The Evolution of Player Interfaces’’, which of course had to include RichCast. Check out some highlights of the talk in the video below.

ICYMI: Early Access is here!

If you're new to RichCast, the app uses a simple drag and drop interface to allow creators to import their own images, animations, video, music and sound effects.

From there all you need to do is type in what you want your character to say.

The most exciting aspect? You have the choice of using speech or buttons to control the action.

 You can talk to your characters and they will talk back!

We’re giving away £10,000 to creators!

This month we announced our creators competition where we teamed up with Wireframe Magazine to offer a total of £10,000 in cash for whoever can create the most innovative RichCast experiences in the following categories:

Best Fiction

Best Non-Fiction

Best Use of Audio

Best Use of Visuals

We’d suggest downloading RichCast and giving it a try first, see what ideas flow and think about what creation you’d like to enter into the competition.

Once you’re ready, all you need to do is sign up via our competition page, download RichCast and get creating!

We’ll be awarding four prizes of £2,000 with four prizes of £500 to runners up in each category.
