Library Reopening

Starting Monday, July 6th, all Tazewell County Public Libraries return to regular business hours with a max capacity of 10 people. We will continue to take safety precautions to counteract the spread of COVID-19.   Please read the statement from Library Director, Erica Hall, to learn about services that we are offering.

Family Gardening at the Library

Sign up for a family gardening session at the Library. Water & watch 'em grow! Please bring your own garden gloves (tools are optional). Face masks are encouraged. In order to provide social distancing only one family will be scheduled for each session. Registration is required. No drop offs.

Bluefield Library: Wednesdays in July from 10-10:30 and 10:30-11.

Tazewell Library: Thursdays in July from 10-10:30 and 10:30-11. 

Facebook Live Story Time with Miss Lisa

Join Miss Lisa for a Facebook Live Story Time for kids and families on Tuesdays at 11am. She will be interacting with you in the comments.

Dog Days of Summer with Duke

Members of the Women's Committee of Tazewell County Farm Bureau will be reading stories to Duke, the Therapy Dog. Starting Monday, July 13th, check the Library's Facebook page for recorded videos of fun farm stories being read to Duke and Jane, our Library friends on Mondays and Fridays at 3pm! Videos will be posted from mid-July to mid-August.

Online Book Club

Join us for an Online Book Club hosted by Tazewell County Public Library on Facebook Live. We will be discussing Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates on Monday, July 13 at noon. We would love to see you!!
