Hello,

I hope you're having a good June so far! I'm happy to report that I sent TRUTH ABOUT NERDS & BEES off to be edited. Yay! I also sent copies to my beta readers, and I put up the preorder on Amazon.

Once that was finished, I collapsed on the couch and could barely lift a finger to push the button on the TV remote. I tend to work really hard, and then when I'm done, I relax really hard. My only goal was to binge all the shows I'd been putting off. 

The irony, of course, is that I miss Theo and Gabe terribly! If you've ever had a book hangover after reading a great story, let me tell you, writers get them when they finish books. I spent so much time with those two (and learned more than I ever thought possible about bees and football!) that I felt bereft. It's like having two close friends stay with you, and now they've gone on with their lives.

At least they'll be visiting me again when I go through the edits and the proofread later.

That's it. I've had enough. My new neighbor has been sending threatening letters for months and is now suing me. He's trying to force me to remove the beehives from my backyard. (What kind of jerk doesn't understand how important bees are?)

It turns out he's some famous quarterback named Gabriel "Beauty" Bardales. (Why do jocks give each other dumb nicknames?) He wants my beehives removed because he claims the bees are interfering with his guesthouse swimming pool.

Well, guess what? My bees were here long before his guesthouse swimming pool. (Who needs a guesthouse swimming pool anyway? Talk about overprivileged.)

I've tried contacting him, but he's ignored all my efforts. So now I've taken matters into my own hands.
