After the launch of three books last month, April seems--dare I say it--calm and comfortable. I know I'm tempting fate when I make a statement like that, but it's the truth. I enjoy quiet writing time and it seems to be coming my way along with a bit of spring sunshine.
I am hosting a writer's retreat in a couple weeks and am planning a major conference in May but all the moving parts seem to be falling into place.
Dial Witch Trilogy
I'm polishing Dial Magic, the third book in the Dial Witch trilogy, to get it ready for my editor. It will launch in October. Pulling all the threads together in this trilogy is great fun. I want to give Jane's story the ending she deserves.
My Secret Stories
I won't give away the title of my new series yet, but I'm super excited about it. Set in Mystic Keep the six-book set has many of the characters my readers already love. A twist in their lives sets off a whole new tangent of tales. Ooooh. I can't wait to share.
But I will wait because sometimes I'm mean like that.
I've ordered the covers for the first three books and begun plotting it in my head. The next stage will involve a notebook and whiteboard.
I've put The Perfect Brew trilogy into a boxed set for anyone who wants to get all three at once at a good price. The blurb is above. I love to binge read, and I know many of your do too. It's a good deal.
I'm looking forward to seeing my family over Easter weekend. We haven't been together since last summer. I can't wait. Today I bought a bunny cookie cutter, who knows what I'll buy today.
I'm grateful for the simple pleasures of my ordinary life.
