Insect exploration, gardening, and even a child friendly cooking workshop!

Bring your children to the Binghamton Urban Farm on August 4th to learn, explore and catch bugs! This hands on kid friendly workshop is free and open to those who register prior to the workshop. This workshop will be led by a local insect expert and youth educator. Intended for ages 6-12. 

Activities include:
-Bug Catching with Nets
-Bug observations
-Bug storytelling
-Light Snack

Join us at the Lee Barta Community Center on August 11th to learn cooking skills alongside your children! This workshop is free and open to those who register prior to the workshop. This hands on kid friendly workshop is a great way to get your child more involved with food at home, and learn safe necessary skills! Led by a Cornell Cooperative Extension educator. Intended for ages 6-12.

-Hands on cooking
-Tips for parents to get their kids involved in the kitchen
-Light Snack
-Free recipes
-Tips and tricks to get your child to eat healthy food and enjoy it!
