Dear fellow GHT supporters, donors and volunteers,
I'm writing to ask you to help GHT by taking part in this summer's especially flexible version of our annual fundraising event, SepTimber Ride.
It's a SepTimber Ride for everyone, even people who never thought they'd take part in a bike ride event!
This year's Ride is open to all ages. You can ride where you want to, when you want to, and go whatever distance you want to. We'd love to have you come to the Northwoods whenever you can, but this year you don't have to be in Eagle River to participate.
Best of all, as a registered participant you will be adding to GHT's funds for building bike trails. And you'll get all the event goodies!
Here's how simple it is: • You register for the $50 set fee by going to www.septimberride.com. (Do it now - registration closes on Sept. 1st!) • You get the event t-shirt, the traditional Tribute souvenir glass, and a range of coupons for places like Tribute, Three Lakes Winery, and more Eagle River area businesses! • Your registration fee goes directly to support GHT bike trail building and the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce.
My wife, Ann, and I just registered the other day. We're going to register our grandkids too! We plan to ride with them, safely spaced, when we visit their families in the next few weeks. We'll be sure to take a photo or two to post on the Eagle River Chamber's Facebook page.
Please help GHT and take part in this special 2020 version of our hallmark bike event, SepTimber Ride. It's a great way to support Great Headwaters Trails and to show that COVID-19 isn't going to slow us down!
Thank you! And, please, stay safe,
Jeff Currie Executive Director
