National Opioid Awareness Day is this Saturday, September 21, 2024. This is an important time for people recovering from opioid addiction and their loved ones. Raising awareness about the effects of opioid overdose reduces the stigma associated with it. Addiction does not discriminate. Please watch and share the video below, which will help bring attention to this national crisis and help us all work towards creating a safer environment for all Tribal communities.

The USET Office of Tribal Public Health provides programmatic support to member Tribal Nations in efforts to reduce the incidence and prevalence of opioid-related health issues in their communities. USET is committed to watching incoming data and providing consistent information on this emerging threat.
