Rain or no rain, the flowers are always beautiful in Provence at this time of the year. So, if you love gardens, read Steve Wilkison's article below on the magnificent grounds at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild on Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
While on the French Riviera, check out Café Brun in Antibes. Located in the centre of old Antibes, they have recently shared a few recipes you can make at home. Or better yet, book a table!
Céline O'Donnell is a private tour guide and native of Nice, France. She has lived in this Côte d'Azur city for 40 years and runs guided walking tours of her city through her company Nice by Heart. Since we love travel tips from locals, check out our interview with her about her favourite places in Nice. Also, for those planning a visit to Nice this year, send us a note via email before April 15th for a chance to win two spots on a Nice by Heart walking tour.
Did you know that there are vineyards within the city limits in Nice? With the Alps as a backdrop and the Côte d’Azur in the foreground, the vineyards of Bellet not only deliver great wines but a beautiful setting. In the foothills of the southern Alps, the Bellet appellation covers 650 hectares, of which 50 are planted with vines at 200-300 metres altitudes.
