Concerned with the situation at Eastern Lithuanian borders and within the country, diaspora activation platform Pilietybė.lt invited Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė for an open talk to get straight answers to main questions: What is really going on at the Lithuanian borders? How can the Lithuanian diaspora help in this situation? The Prime Minister stressed that the current situation is not a mere humanitarian migration crisis, it is rather an orchestrated process with very cruel goals of destabilization of the international and internal political situation. Global Lithuanians can offer their services as translators to people trapped in the political game as well as channels of truthful information into the media of their country of residence to balance the information flow from Russia and Belarus.
