Hey,
I was pleasantly surprised by the warm replies from some of you on the previous Consider This on how to become minimally more charismatic.
And since warmth is one of the three components of charisma I shared—power and presence being the other two—those of you who emailed me back are at least 33% of the way there!
You also shared some powerful feedback, such as this:
Rather than try to make yourself more charismatic, focus on making the people around you feel good.
I think that's an even better idea than the ones I shared!
But it also got me wondering…
What about my baby son, Zac?
While he often makes me feel good, he more frequently makes me feel tired, bored, scared, and frustrated.
Even so, I'm glad to have him around.
So what gives?
The answer I've settled on is one of the biggest takeaways from my first few months of being a dad. And whether you're already a parent, aspire to be one, or don't even want a pet rock to look after, I think it's worth considering…
