This is another great family or class project. Remember you don't have to buy a card - you can make one!! Have students or creative kids? Maybe they would like to draw a picture of his plane. Send a postcard or photos of where you're from. Be as creative as you like! He will LOVE hearing from you!
His daughter will send over a few pics from his special day.

Phlash Phelps (Sirius XM 60's on 6) and I have been doing a Livestream Show. We started it as a way to bring our followers together during the quarantine - but now it's taken on a life of its own. 🙃 Aside from some crazy stuff - that I can't really explain - you'd just have to watch, we raise awareness and donations for various charities.
Our next show is APRIL 8th - we will be celebrating Phlash's 54th birthday (which is on 4/11). Want to send him something in the mail to open during the show?

attn: Phlash's bday! There are lots of laughs and meaningful moments. Watch live on Facebook, or Youtube. You can watch our New Year's Eve show here.

Mission 47 Update
You Made John Coates 96th Birthday Extra Special!
I am sad to report that John Coates has passed away. It is bittersweet to think he passed away shortly after this photo was taken. He did not leave this earth without one last meaningful expression of gratitude and love from all of you. Here is his memorial video.
Thank you to ALL who worked quickly to send 96th b-day cards out to WWII Veteran John Coates (Battle of the Bulge and Operation Market Garden). Gary M. delivered your cards to John and read and described each card to him his vision is poor.
I got to spend some time with John on the phone after he received the cards. He said he was 'moved and overwhelmed' by all the kindness and well wishes from all of YOU. 😊🇺🇸
