Greetings, everyone. 

We are pleased to announce the formation of a new international TI group, the - International Resistance Movement Against Electronic Torture and Organized Stalking; a sort of 'United Nations' for the TI community.  Website:  IRMAETOS.org

We have been meeting since early November laying the foundation for this new venture, although there is still much to do.  

The website is up, although much more content will be added in the coming days and weeks.   Mary Lamont and Galina Kurdina in Canada and Harald Brems in Germany have volunteered to work on the website.  

Our headquarters will likely be in Belgium where Melanie Vritschan and her associates will be playing a vital role in outreach efforts for our cause in both the European Parliament and the United Nations.  

Each national group will send representatives to participate in the proceedings. Our ultimate goal is to achieve non-governmental organization status with the Human Rights Commission in the United Nations, which is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.  We believe that our issues need world-stage recognition so that UN member countries can address them more readily.  

So far, nine countries are represented in this coalition:

At this time, we are accepting applicants for registration. You may register either as an individual or as a group. Those interested in registering with us should send an email, subject line, 'Registration' to IRMAETOS@protonmail.com with the following information:

• your name and/or organization's name
• email address
• country of residence

This profile will be used to start our database and for sending emails if/when we start our newsletters. 

We will also be accepting memberships soon, however those details are still in development.  

The activists that have responded have really caught the vision for what's potentially ahead for this new organization and we are all looking forward to this important next step in our activism as a community.
