Shires Yard has announced the launch of its inaugural Wimbledon Courtyard Screen, bringing the excitement of the Championships to the heart of Bath throughout the second week of the tournament.

Visitors will be able to enjoy live coverage from Centre Court and beyond in the surroundings of Shires Yard's Georgian courtyard.

The Championships also mark the return of a summer favourite to Shires Yard. Brickell's Ice Cream will once again be serving its award-winning artisan ice cream from Wednesday through to Sunday, between 11am and 6pm, throughout the summer until September.

Jeweller Suzanne Claire handcrafts beautiful and tactile French knitted, crocheted, embroidered and woven jewellery. Zsuzsi Morrison’s jewellery could be described as modern-day talismans or amulets, each piece an individual work of art.

Exploring the nation’s depth, identity, joy and hardship, Cubans by Cubans offers an intimate insight into the island’s people through the lens of 11 local Cuban photographers.

This fascinating exhibition, the first of its kind in the city of Bath, features 62 photographs including portrait, social and street imagery which tell an authentic story of the rich culture and present struggles of everyday life in Cuba.

Cubans by Cubans was curated by Louise Rushford,Creative Director at RRS and
Cuba based writer and producer Katya Bleszynska, with the help and advice of local
artist and illustrator Tristan Manco.

Dorothy House Hospice is delighted to be partnering with award winning garden designer Charlotte Sanderson on her successful ‘Pocket Garden’ entry into the Royal Horticultural Society’s inaugural show at the Badminton Estate, Gloucestershire. 

Running from 8-12 July, the garden entitled ‘Shared Breath’ highlights the collective reliance of all human beings on a finite, shared resource: oxygen. Its aim is to encourage meaningful conversations around death and end-of-life care and to raise awareness of the vital work carried out by the hospice charity, Dorothy House.

Bath Rugby has learnt of its 2026/27 opponents as the EPCR Investec Champions Cup draw has taken place.

On the first day of the 2026/27 season, Bath have learnt of their upcoming opponents for the European competition, which commences this year in October - a change from previous seasons where the competition started in December.

Taking place in host broadcaster Premier Sports' studios in Dublin, 24 clubs**** taken from the URC, Top 14 and Gallagher PREM who qualified for the top flight of the European league were drawn into four pools of six.

Bath were drawn into Pool 4**,** alongside fellow PREM Rugby side Northampton Saints from Tier 1, of which the two will not play in the pool stage of the competition in line EPCR rules.

Bath's pool was completed with the additions of Montpellier, Cardiff, Stade Français and Vodacom Bulls, with the latter being the first time Bath will play the Loftus-based outfit.

The calendar for this year's European competition has been brought forward to the autumn, with Round 1 taking place the weekend of the 16-18 October 2026. A full breakdown of the European season is below.

Fixtures for the pool stage of the competition will be determined and announced later this month.
