Friar Aldin, a Franciscan friar from the Diocese of Calgary, took his first vows in 2022. His vocation journey began with a nursing career but was profoundly influenced by the diocesan One Rock festivals—an impactful youth and young adult event hosted by our Diocese, and later on his ministry at Singles for Christ.
Learn how One Rock festival in 2013 and 2014 played a key role in guiding him towards the Franciscan life, where he now draws inspiration from music, community, and the example of St. Francis. Read now
