Purdue Crew's Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Core Values recognizes that "In a thriving community each person recognizes the importance of and commits to taking a vested interest in the well-being of other community members".

Purdue Crew believes our community includes campus, greater Lafayette, and beyond, and actively works with community partner Lafayette Urban Ministry in the fall as a co-chair of the Hunger Hike and in the spring for our Row-A-Thon fundraiser, where each athlete fundraises for a three hour row, with half of the proceeds supporting Purdue Crew and half donated to LUM, netting over $100k in donations to LUM.

We are excited to confirm that Purdue Crew will be sending both a men's and women's crew to Henley Royal Regatta this summer! The women will compete in the Island Challenge Cup (student women's 8+), and the men in the Temple Challenge Cup (student men's 8+). This will be the first time that both the men and women compete at Henley in the same year, which feels appropriate given the 75th/50th anniversaries we celebrated last October. And, of course, the speed we have this year. Henley Royal Regatta is an opportunity for us to represent the program on a global scale and compete at the highest level. 

If you are interested in supporting our Henley campaign, consider sponsoring a seat for Henley. The full cost of the trip per athlete will be approximately $3500; we would love for that number to be closer to $1500.
