“What an unprecedented year 2020 is” and I’m sure for some of us that phrase has become a cliché but the reality is 2020 is a year like no other.

A lot of people just can’t wait for the year to go by (justifiably so, due to various experiences in the year) so they can reset and start a new year with new or renewed ambition or focus.

But thank God for the glimmer of light at the end of the year - the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the joy of the season. Downcast hearts are being lifted, peace in our hearts is being restored (Isaiah 9:6) and to crown it all, God’s word to you this last month of 2020 is “I will help you”. What an assurance of God being with us in the midst of the so-called unprecedented times.

I encourage you this season to hold on to God’s word and truly appreciate Him for never leaving nor forsaking you.

Go ahead, count your blessings and appreciate God for His Faithfulness and His promise to be with you even as we go into the new year!
