Hi ,
Well after weeks of exciting new openings, reopenings and refurbs around Hull, I must say this week's been a little quieter.
There's still been enough to talk though... traffic (everyone's bug bear!), fly-tippers and Colin & Cuthbert, the supermarket caterpillar cakes locked in a legal battle to the death!
Well one local chippy chain, Papa's, has made national news again this week by battering the nations favourite cake in its deep fat fryers. Crazy huh? No idea how it'll taste but I must admit, I'm tempted.
In other news, there's been some new shows and gigs announced... 90s brit poppers Shed Seven will be here in December, while Waitress The Musical is a huge addition to Hull New Theatre's line-up and both the Royal and National Philharmonic Orchestras are coming too!
If it's food you love, we've always got you covered... We've found five new restaurants / eateries that we think you'll love. They've opened during lockdown and when restrictions ease up in May, you can try them out!
And if you're after some ideas for what you can do this week, have a look at the 10 things we all love about Hull. We asked our social followers last week who responded in force. We love it!
Thanks again for your support. Any feedback is welcome. I love to see your responses to the survey so please keep 'em coming.
Best wishes,
