Gimme Please!

As part of the preparation of the 11th edition of Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children, last June AFCA started working on the production of (Gimme Please) performance.

This project is funded by the U.S Embassy in Cairo. “Gimme Please” performance is developed in partnership with Paperboats, UT Austin, and the Alliance Theatre. Stay tuned for a unique version of (Gimme Please!) to be performed by Egyptian artists during Hakawy festival 2021.

Making Theatre for Autistic Children..

On Thursday the 24th of June, the “Making Theatre for Autistic Children'' training organized by AFCA and supported by the British Council in Egypt, started with an online session with Christopher Davies, the co-founder and artistic director of Bamboozle Theatre Company from the United Kingdom. 

At this session, the participants got an inspiring introduction to the Bamboozle approach that will be transformed at the end of the training into a special show/session that will be performed to the audiences on the autism spectrum at Hakawy festival 2021.

AFCA’s Theater & Storytelling workshops at Alexandria Schools..

In the context of the Label FRANCÉDUCATION and seeking the development of the arts and culture knowledge in the French schools located in Egypt, the French Institute in Cairo supported AFCA to put in place Theater & Storytelling training for students of Collège "Notre Dame de Sion" & “Ecole Girard” in Alexandria.
