Dear NSPAC Families, 

Its that time of year! Spring is right around the corner which also means that NSPAC's Go the Distance Awards is also coming upon us. This year, our Go the Distance Awards will be held on May 11th at Algonquin High School. More information will be forthcoming soon.

April is World Autism Month which is especially close to NSPAC's heart since we support so many families in our district who have a primary disability of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission and our passion is to create an inclusive community of students, parents, educators and district employees that fosters support and respect for all children; which aligns with goals of Autism Awareness Month. 

NSPAC is excited for our upcoming Coffee and Connect on April 12th. We hope you will join us for friendship, conversation, and a sharing of ideas and experiences.

13th Annual Go the Distance Award Nominations

The 13th Annual Go the Distance Awards: Partners in Progress on May 11th at 6 PM at Algonquin High School.

The nomination process will open April 3rd and run for two weeks through Friday, April 14th. Submit your nominations here!

Every family with a child on a 504 or IEP is eligible to submit a nomination. Go the Distance looks to recognize one individual who has made a positive impact in your child’s life during this current 2022 - 2023 academic year. This person can be a bus driver, teacher, cafeteria worker, paraprofessional, support staff member, another student, or community employee (such as a coach, dance teacher, or librarian). It should be an individual who has made a significant contribution in enhancing the life of your child. Every person nominated will be formally recognized during the Go the Distance Award Ceremony in May. Visit the event website at: https://www.nspac.org/gtd

A Letter From: Johanna Sheyner, NSPAC Vice President, runs for Southborough School Committee

Southborough & Northborough Friends and Neighbors:

I am so excited to announce that I am running to be one of the two newly elected 3 year term positions on the Southborough School Committee on May 9th! I have lived in Southborough since 2008 with my husband Oleg, and my two daughters who are currently in 4th and 7th grades.I am running for School Committee because I want to ensure that every student in our district has the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams; that includes all of our children on IEPs and 504s. I am a staunch advocate of special education programming, awareness and acceptance, and Equity and Inclusion in all senses of the word;
