Provence food, lifestyle and Mediterranean living magazine.

Perfectly Provence Travel Lifestyle Magazine

Provence is hot at this time of the year, and the pool is calling your name. Although it can be hard to get motivated to do much during the day, don't let summer slip away without a dose of culture and exercise.

The museums re-opened in June with restrictions on the number of visitors. Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux de Provence is open to the public with the mind-blowing creations by Gaudi and Dali projected on the quarry walls. Buy your tickets online and enjoy having plenty of space to view the exhibitions.

Take advantage of cooler temperatures for early morning hikes, and canal walks. Head to the Gorges du Verdon for a river walk and water sports on Lac St Croix. Go kayaking in the Camargue, on the Sorgue, or near the Pont du Gard. Head to the Southern Alps north of Nice for beautiful hiking in the Mercantour and the Vallée des Merveilles (Valley of Wonders).
