The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) received a report from the Master of a Bulk Carrier located 57NM southwest of Aden, Yemen.

An entity claiming to be the Yemeni Authorities contacted the vessel, instructing it to change its course. This is the third suspicious contact reported in this area within 48 hours.

All vessels in the area are advised to proceed with caution and to report any suspicious activities to the UKMTO.
