EOSC-ENTRUST publishes updated TRE provider capabilities summary

The EOSC-ENTURST project has published an updated summary of the Trusted Research Environment provider capabilities based on an inventory survey open to all TRE providers. The summary provides an overview of the TRE provider capabilities, common practices and trends as well as the variety in the TRE landscape.

EOSC-ENTRUST Sustainability workshop
23 October 2025 | 14:00-16:00 CEST

EOSC-ENTRUST is holding a sustainability workshop to discuss potential exploitation and sustainability pathways after the end of the project. The workshop will include stakeholders from leading TREs across Europe, such as providers, drivers, technical architects and policy specialists from across the science domains.

2nd EOSC-ENTRUST Requirements and Capabilities Workshop

On 6-7 May 2025, the EOSC-ENTRUST project held its second requirements and capabilities workshop. During the workshop, the project partners discussed the current status of the project’s roadmap, gathered expectations of Providers and Drivers and identified common pain points that could hinder the direction of the blueprint towards interoperability. The slides of the workshop are now available on Zenodo.

Updated Roadmap for EOSC-ENTRUST Blueprint

This second version of the Blueprint Roadmap outlines updated steps toward building a Blueprint that meets the needs of both project use cases (Drivers) and TRE providers (Providers).

Revised Driver requirements for TREs from the four Drivers

This milestone report presents the results of a series of workshops (“Show-and-Tell-sessions”) organised by the Drivers in May and June of 2025 and concluded with a summary session to define common requirements and challenges for federated data access across Trusted Research Environments (TREs).

Updates from sister projects

EOSC-SIESTA participates in the European Commission’s gathering of EOSC-related projects to coordinate support for the EOSC Federation

The EOSC-SIESTA project took part in the European Commission’s dedicated meeting that brought together a wide range of EOSC-related projects with the aim of strengthening cooperation and aligning efforts in support of the EOSC Federation. This was an opportunity for the project to present its work on providing innovative, privacy-preserving solutions for sensitive data processing, ensuring that data owners, analysts, and service providers can collaborate securely within EOSC.
