The Workplace Development Committee warmly invites all Australian DTAA and non DTAA members, as well as DMT practitioners from other regions, to join a forum exploring the future direction of our profession in light of recent NDIS-related changes. This forum is intended to provide an opportunity to address shared concerns, foster connection, and offer clarity and insight across sectors during this period of transition. There will also be time for movement and reflective sharing among participants.

Time: 4:00pm–6:00pm (AEST) / 6.00pm-8.00pm (NZ Time)
Platform: Zoom (a recording will be made available)
Registration: Registration is required. Please register your attendance, and include any questions you may wish to raise in the registration form.
Program:
Part 1
The WDC and the Executive Team will provide DTAA members with an update on recent changes relating to NDIS funding. This will also be an opportunity for participants to raise questions, concerns, and areas of interest.
Part 2
The forum will also include a panel discussion featuring DMT practitioners working across mental health, education, aged care, justice, and other allied health settings. Panel members will share their experiences and insights into how DMT can continue to contribute across a range of sectors.

This forum will bring together practitioners from a variety of sectors to share how Dance Movement Therapy is being integrated within their fields, with the aim of fostering connection, insight, and cross-sector learning within our professional community.
A recording of the forum will also be made available to members as an ongoing resource.
