Happy Chinese New Year!

How are you these days? I hope your 2022 is off to a good start. Mine has been injected with rocket fuel (or noz) especially after a lazy winter holiday. I blame it on work, but maybe I should blame it on the boogie.

So it's been full speed ahead. We were the only school open in Lampang (heck, probably the country) at the beginning of the year. These days, all schools are open, and I hope this continues since we now know how damaging closures have been for our children.

Although, we couldn't get permission to go to the local national park (due to minority of parents), so we ended up doing a Camp Day. It was a successful (albeit exhausting) day of tent set ups, rappelling, BBQ-ing, and a campus wide scavenger hunt.

But the fun doesn't stop there. Oh, no. We need to celebrate CNY, and apparently, after an afternoon of crafts, there will be singing, lion dancing, and a catwalk as the students show off their Chinese fashion.

I plan on stomping down the runway pointing to my mug yelling, "Look at my face! Look at me! I don't need a costume for Chinese New Year!"

🎵 But even BETTER (for my internet and tastes at least), is Radiooooo, a frickin' awesome site that lets you chose a country and an era to listen to! The 1970s is my happy place. (And may I recommend 1970s Cambodia. It was their golden era of music before the Khmer Rouge.)

When he saw her Dorki merch, I think he mentioned something about how much I journal, and then she sent us all this fun stuff, including a Dorki journal for me! 💕
