What You Need to Know About Outdoor Worship

  • 11:00am Sunday – In the Parking Lot South of the Canopy
  • Bring a Lawn Chair or Blanket to sit on in the Parking Lot
  • The entrance off of Belvidere Road will be CLOSED.  You must enter off of 2nd St. on the school side of the property for safety reasons.
  • Parking will be available in the School Lots off of 2nd Street
  • Parking will be available on the west side of the building by the playground for those that need closer parking.
  • This is NOT a Drive-in service – You will get out of your cars!
  • Masks are NOT required, but please practice social distancing.
  • Don't forget to bring a hat or sunscreen! :)

What a joy it was to see about 250 people in the parking lot for worship this past Sunday.  A big thank you to all the people that worked to make it happen.  It took a huge team of people to make it happen.  A special thank you to Bob Fleischmann for donating his equipment and time Sunday morning.  Hope to see you all again the next two Sundays.

Comfort Dogs

Kye and Bekah Comfort Dogs along with Jael, K-9 Comfort Dog in Training, stopped and dropped off treats for the staff at Heritage Woods, Park Place, Northwoods and Maple Crest!  Praise God for faithful workers!

Every woman is on a journey. In looking carefully at the two Israelite's (out of two million) who crossed over the Jordan and into the Promised Land, we find direction for our own spiritual lives. Expect to see God move in miraculous ways in your everyday existence.

Mini-Worship Services - Every Wed. at 11 am

  • You may only attend the service you signed up to attend.
  • Please do not enter the building more than 15 minutes before service.
  • Please wear a mask when entering the building. If you are having difficulty getting a handmade face mask, please call the church office.
  • Enter and exit through Door #1.
  • The Narthex and Sanctuary are the only areas open to the public.
  • There is no time to visit inside the building. Please say hello outside.

There is one Mini-worship service each week on Wednesday at 11:00am that will be reserved for those in the “high risk” category or those uncomfortable being with larger groups at this time.  This will be the schedule for the rest of the summer for Wednesday Mini-worship services.

Caring & Sharing – Stewardship in Difficult Financial Times

The Scriptures teach us to be First Fruits Percentage Givers.  That means we give according to what God has given us and we make those gifts a priority in our life.  This kind of Scriptural giving works when things are going well, and it works when things are not going well.

If you are struggling financially then your percentage gift will automatically go down – no guilt, no shame, and no questions asked.  If that’s the case, we should be asking you, “How can we help.”  That’s the way it is supposed to work.

However, if you have had no change in your current income, then we simply ask you to be faithful in your percentage giving.  God loves a cheerful giver and so we want to make it easy for you to give.  You, of course, can mail your offering to the church office, but we strongly encourage you to set up Electronic Giving through our website by clicking the link below.  Thank you for helping us Connect People to Christ for Life!

New Focus on Old Challenges

The current COVID crisis is bringing new focus to old challenges regarding estate planning. The threat of illness, disability or death makes real the need to make sure that “wishes” are written down to become “directions” instead. Our Gift Planning Counselor, Ray Pagels, is available NOW to begin working with you toward that plan. He can meet with you in person or by video conference. Contact Ray at 847-226-2262 or ray.pagels@lfnd.org.
