It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Supply vessel whilst anchored at Port Luanda Outer Anchorage. An on-duty officer was investigating a suspicious noise on the main deck when a robber ran at him with a sharp object, the officer raised the alarm resulting in the robber escaping in a small motorboat with three other accomplices. A search of the vessel was conducted, no ship's items were reported missing and no crew were injured during this incident.
