“We want to give the best beer to our community and we really take it to heart when people like our beer,” says 2SP Brewing Company’s Director of Sales and Marketing Mike Contreras
The award-winning 2SP brewery is a natural outgrowth of the popular Two Stones Pubs, including the Kennett Square location, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year. Two Stones Pubs were some of the first local restaurants to offer a broad selection of craft beer.
When Contreras was asked to join the team of the brand-new 2SP brewery in 2014, he wasn't sure. But he asked who the brewer would be. When he learned it was Bob Barrar, from Iron Hill, he immediately said yes. “Having Bob on board was like having an Olympic swimmer in a bathtub.”

Taste of Puebla is a well-loved, longtime vendor at KSQ Farmers Market. Owners Mariana and Cristobal Casteneda started the business because they wanted to share their love of their hometown’s food with the Kennett Square community. With the daily help of their son Chris and his wife Candace, they make delicious chips, salsas, guacamole, and a variety of fresh Mexican fare to bring to the market every Friday.
The KSQ Farmers Market Winter Season is important to the Castanedas because they want to continue to serve their loyal customers who support them throughout the year. Their top three sellers at the KSQ Farmers Market are pico de gallo, guacamole, and chips.
You can also visit Taste of Puebla at their storefront at 900 W. Cypress Street.
