While underway in the Singapore Strait, five perpetrators armed with knives were sighted boarding the stern of the ship and entering the engine room. The master raised the alarm, and the crew was mustered to conduct a search, but no perpetrators were found onboard.

Some engine room spares were reported stolen. The crew was not injured, and no further assistance was required. The ship resumed her voyage to China
