This offering supports ministries within our own great state!  Money given goes to Alabama Disaster Relief, Alabama WMU, Church Revitalization, and other Alabama ministries.  Our church goal is $7,000.  Please pray about what God is calling YOU to give above and beyond your regular tithes!

Total Collected so far:  $5,327.00

The cost is $15 per child, or $20 per family (for new students only).  If you participated with Awana this past Spring, you do not owe anything this time.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPER (WNS)

Location: FLC – Dining Area & Gym

Serving Times: 5:00 PM – Serving Begins after the blessing

5:50 PM – Serving Line Closes

Church-Wide: WNS is a Church-Wide opportunity & fellowship time; Not just for AWANA participants

Menu: Menus will be announced in advance in the weekly newsletter and bulletin

Cost: Donations to offset the cost of food will be accepted weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. If you choose to make a donation online, please specify for WNS. Donations are voluntary!

Reservations: It is very helpful to the food prep team to have an approximate number of people eating. So, please make reservations from week to week at the AWANA sign in location!

The Helping Hands Ministry was inspired by Doris Thompson and her vision to reach out to our shut-in and homebound members. This ministry delivers gifts to our shut-ins  once a month, on the 4th Thursday (except during the holidays). Even though a gift is delivered, the true gift is the visit and time spent with the member who is unable to attend church.

If you would like to participate, come to the Family Life Center at 10:00 AM on the designated dates to help assemble gifts and make deliveries.

The bus will leave the church at 7am on Saturday, October 12.  The cost is $35 and includes a meal.  The kids will meet missionaries, learn about the traditions and culture in Central Asia through study sessions and craft time.  This is for 1st - 5th graders.  Sign up at The Children's Corner.

Sign up sheets have been posted on the bulletin board.  Options to sign up for include characters, bringing food to feed workers, and parking lot assistants.  More info coming soon!
