Kennett Collaborative will begin a search for a new Executive Director, following the resignation of current Executive Director Bo Wright, who will move on from the organization this fall. 

Wright led the organization to support the community through the pandemic and has brought innovative ideas and creative new initiatives to help make Kennett thrive including Kennett Blooms,  parklets, Floral Flash, Summerfest, and the How We Build Matters Speaker Series.

“Kennett Collaborative has never been stronger,” says Kennett Collaborative Board chair Mary Kay Gaver. “We are looking for our next dynamic leader who will embody Kennett Collaborative’s mission and our passion for our community and the people who live, work, and own businesses here."

The harvest of beautiful, fresh-picked, and delicious local produce continues every week at the KSQ Farmers Market. This Friday, August 12th, the market joins markets across the country in celebrating National Farmers Market Week.

Special  activities will include a market basket raffle, a market scavenger hunt, and a few different specials from some of the vendors!

Did you know that the Kennett Library was presented a Gold Star Award from PA Forward®? The award recognizes the library’s work to provide literacy-focused resources and high-quality programming. We're so proud of our library and very excited for the ew Kennett Library & Resource Center taking shape before our very eyes!

In other news, tickets for the silver anniversary of the Kennett Brewfest are selling quickly. If you haven't purchased your tickets already, you can do so here.
