The tool allows you to sort through all the money-making opportunities I've fully reviewed on Swift Salary (so far). You can narrow the opportunities down by entering your age, country/region, platforms you have access to, payout options, and more.

Eventually, this tool will allow you to sort through hundreds of different money-making opportunities of all different types, including side hustles, gigs, business building platforms, and more. 

Right now, there are only 20-something opportunities on there, so I have some a lot of work to do :)

Each review/guide has real user data and reviews as well. Which reminds me, if you use any money-making websites/apps/etc. (like the ones featured in the tool), reach out and let me know. I may have a paid opportunity for you!

Find a job in a startup. AngelList is a large curator of startup jobs, typically in the tech space. Worth checking out if you're looking for something. And even if you already have a job, it never hurts to see what else is out there.

Turning $10k into $600M. That's the success story of RxBar, a protein bar created by Peter Rahal and Jared Smith. After getting involved in CrossFit, Peter asked Jared "Why are protein bars so full of shit?"

That began their journey to creating a healthy protein bar with an egg-white base and dates to bind the ingredients together and provide a nice flavor.

Investing $5k each, they made the bars in their parent's basement, designing product labels on PowerPoint. They began selling the bars online through a Shopify store, then got rolled out by Trader Joe's after meeting a rep at a trade show, and in less than 5 years they sold to Kellogg for $600 million. Pretty amazing.

Do you have an elevator pitch? No matter what type of business you're running or service you're selling, it's useful to be able to say what you do in a quick sentence or two. It's also a lot easier said than done.

If you're a freelance writer, here's a good template from Eva Gutierrez: ""I write articles about [topic] for companies with [the types of products they have] products, like [examples of products or companies]."

More advice (7 quick tips) for freelancers. From this thread -- written by someone who's been freelancing full-time for 5 years. They gave 7 great (and simple) pieces of advice:

1. Just start, manage your expectations.
2. You are the only thing holding your business back
3. You won't scale until you learn how to properly block your schedule
4. It's easier to maintain 1 client than find another one.
5. Provide value outside of delivering a product/service i.e. share what you recently read/watched
6. Know the difference between being NICE and KIND, then stick to it. You're not helping your business grow by telling clients what they want to hear.
7. Don't be an Ass, who's making your decisions, your ego or your gut?

Welcome to October! Friendly reminder that now’s a good time to update your net worth, review your financial goals, and get an overview of your finances. 

Are you staying on track? Do you need to transfer some money to savings/investments? Have you reviewed your credit card statements recently to make sure everything adds up? Does your emergency fund need topping up? 

Take some time to review everything -- either by yourself or with a partner!

Expand your "Don't want" list. "There is a special joy found in not wanting things." 

Whenever my birthday is coming up or Christmas is around the corner and people are asking me what I want for gifts, I usually have a hard time thinking of ideas. I already have most of what I really want. Even when I look at my "Things I want" list on my phone, I realize a lot of the things on there, I don't even want anymore. It's weird, but it feels good.

Today, I came across the idea of a Don't Want list. Instead of writing out what you want, write out things you don't want. Maybe even look around your house at things you have and see if there are things you no longer need. You might be able to give them to someone who would appreciate them more. 

And once you realize you don't need as many things to be happy, your bank account will benefit too.

⚡ Summary: Crypto ended off the week strong, rising from around $1.9 trillion total market cap at the beginning of Friday to $2.1 trillion near the end of the day. Part of the inflow could be due to the Fed making headlines for saying they have "no intention to ban" cryptocurrency.

Has this Hamster out-invested you? A hamster has been trading crypto, and its portfolio is up 3.63% as of September 29th. It was doing much better on September 23 when it was up 23%, but in the hamster's defense, things have been pretty wild recently.

September exceeded expectations in terms of being one of the weakest months for the markets. In Swift Saturday #60 I mentioned the statistic that the S&P 500 experiences an average decline of 0.4% in September. Well, this September it declined 4.79%.
