Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
Please join USET TEC as we raise awareness for immunizations this month and click on the video above.
The USET TEC is promoting National Immunization Awareness Month this August. National Immunization Awareness Month is dedicated to provide information and education on the significance of immunizations in keeping people and communities healthy. We value the efforts made by USET member Tribal Nations to steward the next seven generations and understand the barriers the last few years have presented to the health of the communities you serve.
Over the past few years, many children and adults may have missed routine checkups and recommended vaccinations, therefore this August, USET TEC would like to provide information and resources while also highlighting the importance of immunizations.
Vaccines can help provide protection from serious and sometimes fatal diseases and conditions. They are a cornerstone of public health, decreasing disease prevalence, burden, and protecting communities from outbreaks and pandemics. High vaccination rates help provide protection to vulnerable groups like those who are immunocompromised or with little access to vaccines.
To help USET member Tribal Nations build the capacity of new or ongoing vaccination campaigns, the USET communications team can provide InDesign files and technical assistance. Click here to request technical assistance.
