The Government Relations Team exists to support a permanent platform for an integrated federal government relations program supporting the objectives and needs of fraternal life. The Government Relations Team members work to further the strategic and tactical plans of this program.
We are looking for qualified sisters to join the team and one sister to also serve as an Alpha Delta Pi representative on the Board of Directors of the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee. (The FSPAC Board position requires an annual personal commitment of $500 or more and participation in two in person board meetings.)
Government Relations team members are advocates for issues facing the sorority and fraternity community and legislation at the federal level. The primary responsibilities involve educating our sisters, chapters, alumnae associations and house corporations on these issues and seeking their support through grassroots engagement and fundraising for the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee. Sisters with experience in issue advocacy, grassroots engagement; government relations and fundraising (political or non profit) are encouraged to apply.
