Mushroom Festival weekend is upon us, and we're celebrating KSQ Farmers Market-style with our very first 🍄 Mushroom Market 🍄 this Friday from 3-6pm!
With a cooking demo, food truck, and some spore-tacular features like Mushroom Coffee ice cream, get a taste of the fun(gi) while shopping all of your favorite local farmers, bakers, and makers.
And don't forget to grab a pic with Kennett Collaborative's cap-tivating Mushroom Parade float! ❤️
Other bites of news:
- Visit with two special Community Guests this Friday:
- AgConnect is popping up with a seed planting activity for kids. Stop by to learn about their important work connecting agriculture across Chester County!
- Chatt with Chester County OIC to learn about their adult education and workforce programs.
- WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) + Senior FMNP checks are welcomed by our PA-based produce farms: Full Table, King's Sweet Corn, Rex Farms Orchard, and Swallow Hill.
If you usually travel to market on Union or Broad from the north, know that street closures along State begin at 4:30pm. Just plan for a little extra travel time, and don't let detours deter you from supporting local this Friday!
As always, there's plenty of free parking on site at 600 S Broad.
See you there, Kennett Square!

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagram if you're uncertain on market day.
Shopping Hours
We need every minute until opening time for all vendors to be fully ready. If you arrive before opening at 3pm, please wait by the entry signage at either end, and listen for the bell to ring to welcome you in. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
During the main season (May–Oct), our usual hours are 3–6 PM.
Location & Parking
Find us in the south end of the parking lot at 600 S. Broad St, Kennett Square, PA.
Plenty of FREE PARKING is available on site!
ACCESSIBILITY: There are a few parking spots near the first entry reserved for those with limited mobility. If you need any assistance to shop, please let us know how we can help.
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week.
- BRING CA$H as not all vendors accept cards or have a minimum for card use. (Cash is always appreciated, as the fees for card use add up for small businesses!)
- PA-based produce farms accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC) + Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks from June–November. Participating farms: Full Table Farm, King's, Rex Farms Orchard, and Swallow Hill
- BYO reusable bags to help reduce plastic waste.
- BYO cooler or insulated bag to help keep things fresh and safe on warm days as you travel.
- Feel free to use the red market wagons + black shopping baskets to help carry your load as you shop — just return to the Kennett Collaborative tent when done.
- Stop by the Kennett Collaborative info tent or ask one of the vendors to point out Ros, the Market Manager, if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Market Manners for Dogs
- Well-behaved pups kept on a short, non-retractable leash are welcome at market!
- Please be sure your dog is comfortable walking calmly past people and other pups of all sizes without lunging, barking, or growling. If you are unsure, please be kind to your dog and others by not bringing them to market.
- If your dog becomes stressed or uncomfortable, please quickly step out of the market area.
- Mind your dog's manners while shopping.
- We appreciate your consideration to keep all safe and happy!
