St Thomas Church appeal
The local Polish community is organising an appeal for Ukraine through St Thomas the Martyr Church in UpHolland, and this is being supported by Upholland Community Hub.
They are asking for donations of urgently needed items to support those displaced by the war in Ukraine.
- sleeping bags
- blankets
- toiletries
- sanitary products
- warm clothing
- children clothing and toys
- school needs
- pencils, exercise books, pens etc
Donations can be dropped off at St Thomas The Martyr Primary School, Highgate Road, Up Holland WN8 0HX between 9am-5pm Monday- Friday and Saturday 9am-1pm

All Saints, Hesketh Bank appeal
Rev Dave Dickinson, Rector at All Saints, Hesketh with Becconsall is channelling local donations to the International Aid collection point.
They need donations of the following items:
- Bedding
- Sleeping Bags
- Clothing ( all ages)
- Footwear
- Toiletries
- Pots and Pans
- Dried Food - pasta etc
You can leave donations on the doorstep of All Saints' Rectory, 1 Silverdale, Hesketh Bank and Rev Dave will arrange for them to be taken to International Aid collection point.
