| With the team, at the top |
At the end of June, the EcoVisio team took a break from the daily hustle and bustle and set off on a journey of rediscovery, inspiration, and connection: with nature, with themselves, and with each other. This time we traveled to the Rodna Mountains National Park. Hiking took us to Lake Iezer, a glacial lake hidden at the foot of Pietrosu Mare, the highest peak in the Eastern Carpathians, and the next day we continued our exploration of nature with a walk to Cailor Waterfall. For us, such opportunities are more than an escape—they are a ritual of care, learning, and co-creation. More details here.

| What do 16 NGOs across the country have in common? The courage to learn, to change, and to move forward. |
Recognizing progress is an essential part of every successful project, and this is something that the 16 NGOs participating in the "Strong NGOs for Resilient Communities" program already know. We met with them again on July 11 at the closing event. From January until now, the participating organizations have gone through: 4 days of training in Chișinău, 3 online workshops for sharing experiences, 7 organizational audits, and 38 mentoring sessions. But beyond the numbers, the most valuable gain remains the connections created between organizations and the internal processes that have begun to improve visibly. More details here.

| 30 minutes through Chișinău. That's all it took to fill a panel with waste. |
Packaging, bottles, cups—all thrown away randomly, but all perfectly avoidable. In the context of Plastic Free July, we asked ourselves: how much single-use plastic can we avoid just by making better choices? The answer is clear: much of the waste we see should not even exist, because we can choose: reusable bottles; cloth bags; products without unnecessary packaging. More here.

There were more materials promoted in July in the area of waste management, agrifood and social entrepreneurship... Unfortunately all those materials are only available in Romanian (the main language spoken in the Republic of Moldova) or Russian, that's why they are not included in the English version of the newsletter. However, if you want to have a look at them, see the button below. |
