Buffalo Zine
Buffalo Zine is unique and one of our favourite magazines because it always takes us into new territory, but the latest release goes to another level. Issue 21 was made without models, stylists, hair or makeup artists. There’s no script, no mood board and the covers have been torn off. The publishers aim is to show how style exists in real life, marking a new stage and editorial approach. Future issues, they say, will be ‘where fashion is approached from the inside out: honest, personal, and lived. A shift away from aspiration, toward presence. Away from image, toward relation. A space where what is enough, simply, is finally seen.’

Bath Society of Artists Members Exhibition at Royal United Hospitals Bath, until 31 January
Founded in 1904, the Bath Society of Artists has grown to a membership of just over 125 diverse, talented artists. Many distinguished 20th century painters have exhibited and taken an interest in the Bath Society of Artists including John Singer Sargent, P. Wilson Steer, Gilbert Spencer, and Mary Feddon.
The Bath Society of Artists members exhibition normally occurs bi-annually, but they had one at Art at the Heart of the RUH last year and were very happy to be invited back again this year. It is a wonderful opportunity for BSA Members to showcase their work as well as support the dedication and outstanding efforts of all the staff at the RUH.
The Exhibition, held in the main corridor of the RUH, is a celebration of the creativity within the BSA membership community and a platform for members in and around the Bath area.
All work is available for sale with one third paid to the RUH.

Butt skippers Bath in PREM Cup versus Gloucester
Will Butt will lead out the Bath Rugby side to face Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm this evening (kick-off 7.30pm) as the PREM Rugby Cup continues with Round 4.
The Blue, Black and White go into this game on the back of an impressive 49-19 away win over another West Country rival Bristol Bears in the previous round two weeks ago.
Butt captains a Bath side with an average age of 21.3 years across the matchday 23, including three players, prop Ioan Emanuel, back row Connor Treacey, and University of Bath centre Will Roue, who are set to make their senior debuts off the bench, with Roue joining the club for this block of PREM Rugby Cup fixtures as further evidence of the strong partnership between the University and Bath Rugby.
Named in the starting front row, hooker Jasper Spandler will line-up alongside props Scott Kirk and Keiran Verden.
Locks Will Jeanes and Harvey Cuckson will partner in the engine room with flankers Ethan Staddon and Thompson Cowan wearing the six and seven jerseys, respectively, alongside George Timmins at No.8.
Scrum-half Neil le Roux will combine with fly-half James Linegar with Butt and Charlie Griffin selected together in the midfield.
Austin Emens is named at fullback while wingers Sam Winters and Tyler Offiah complete the back three.
Hooker Max Pearce, Emanuel, and fellow prop Mikey Summerfield are the front row replacements alongside fellow forwards Aurther Green and Treacey.
Backs Ieuan Davies and Jack Woods are also amongst the impact players while Roue completes a five-three split.

Team Bath: Lily’s Community Tennis Day, 29 November
Lily's life changed in 2023 when she sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury in a road traffic collision. Since then, she has shown extraordinary resilience — fighting through a medically induced coma, undergoing multiple surgeries and now working tirelessly through a physical rehabilitation programme.
Her father, Craig has been a dedicated coach at Team Bath Tennis for nearly two decades. In that time, he’s inspired generations of players and families, helping them grow both on and off the court. We’re a close-knit coaching team and we want to stand beside Craig, Lilly & her mother Charlotte by raising awareness for young people going through Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
On Saturday 29 November, Team Bath will be hosting a community fun day to raise donations for a charity close to Lilly’s heart. It’s a chance for our local tennis community to rally behind a remarkable young woman. All proceeds will be going towards the Helena Ward at the RUH in Bath.
12pm - 2.30pm | Indoor Tennis Courts – University of Bath, Claverton Down, BA2 7AY
